CRS stands for Certified Residential Specialist. This title is bestowed on Realtors who have completed the GRI series of courses as well as a series of CRS courses taught by a nationally trained group of professionals who have all been Realtors for many years and share extensive knowledge. In addition, all designees must complete a minimum of 1 million in transactions per year for several years along with participation in local organizations such as Realtor Board of Directors, CRS Board of Directors, committee chairmen, etc to show their leadership capabilities. Only 4% of all Realtors in the United States have completed this training. If you choose a CRS you can consider yourself working with an expert in the field.
