I was a management consultant based in Metro Atlanta. I traveled throughout the country and Europe working with banks and major automotive lenders. I came to Blue Ridge looking for a future retirement home and I found it and more! The relaxed pace of life in the mountains and small-town friendliness convinced me to leave Metro Atlanta and the corporate world and move full time to Blue Ridge. I have worked to raise money to build a fire station in my neighborhood, serving as Treasurer of the fund-raising committee for the last four years. I am a member of the Community Emergency Response Team, a group of citizens organized and trained to respond in any way necessary in the event of a disaster. I became a nationally certified First Responder to provide emergency care until emergency medical personnel can arrive. I am a board member of the North Georgia Mountains Crisis Network and I have memberships in the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association and the Blue Ridge Community Theatre.
