I started my real estate career 21 years ago from building homes to selling homes. My husband and I owned a lumber yard and were just going to build a couple houses to clean up the lumber yard and it just grew to hundreds of homes, so it was only natural to get involved. After taking all the required classes , I opened my first Real Estate office. We were building in several different areas, so this provided me the opporotunity to indulge in my first passion, flying. I soon found there wasn’t enough time to keep up with my flying and real estate too. I had a twin engine plane, ‘ you did it right the first time or there might not be a second time’. A little like real estate. I’ve sold homes in the 1980’s when interest rates were 18%. This meant lots of challenges in getting homes sold. Those days were not a lot of fun for buyers or sellers. A lot of homes went into foreclosure and this created another market, the repo market. Thank goodness all things do pass.

We have moved into the most exciting time ever with technology. I just came back from a 3 day seminar in Hawaii on the latest and greatest technology and some that will be here later this year. Wow! But rest assured I won’t be so busy going to classes that I won’t have time to help you with your real estate needs.
