I am the Past President of the Northeast Louisiana Board of Realtors, have my Graduate Real Estate Institute designation and was one of the charter receipents of the Certified Residential Specialist designation. I currently specialize in personally buying and selling real estate as an investment. I have been a Realtor for thirty two years. My wife, Linda, is also a broker.

I deal a great deal with land, timber and oil & gas. Several years ago, in 1983, I wrote an article about mineral interests in the LOUISIANA REALTOR and the FARM AND LAND REALTOR magazines. The title of the article was "Mineral Rights: A Closer Look". My son, Steve Pender, is beginning his career in investing in real estate and is an investment partner. My other son, Jason Pender, is involved in the renovation of our properties.
