I graduated from UNC in the 70's and began my teaching career in Georgetown SC. I am now retired and have been working as an associate broker with Century 21 Sail/Loft Realty for three years. My love for the east coast began with family vacations at Atlantic Beach. I moved to New Bern in my mid twenties and spent a great deal of time sailing up and down the coast. We were very active in Blackbeard Sailing Club and enjoyed not only weekend trips but racing as well.

When my daughter became a teenager we bought a cottage on the Neuse River at Minnesott Beach. We enjoyed spending our summers and long weekends there until she graduated from high school. At that time we sold our house in New Bern, and the cottage, and moved to Minnesott permanently. Our daughter is now married and chose to remain in Pamlico County where she married and is raising our grandson.
