I was born in Paducah, Kentucky and moved to a little country town in west Tennessee in 1943. In 1949, I married my husband James C. Hamby, Jr. We moved to Memphis, where he joined the Memphis Police Department and eventually retired from the Department as a Captain. I was a housewife and raised 4 children. When the children grew up, I decided to take the Real Estate Course and become an agent. I have the designations of CRS and GRI, simply because I wanted to be a top agent and learn how to represent my clients with the utmost excellence.
