When selling a house you need a realtor who will tell you honestly what your home will sell for, taking into consideration what current buyers are looking for! If a little "spiffying" up will help get more dollars, the Realtor should be able to tell you what to do! Maybe a bit of paint, clean the carpet; or even as simple as washing windows and sills, or edging the grass would help! It may not get you more dollars for the house, but it will certainly help it sell faster!
