Anchorage is a sprawling city which is comprised of 2 large military bases (Air Force and Army). Within the City limits are, a large International Airport, a Military Airport, a City Airport for smaller planes and a number of private airstrips. Skiing (2 ski stations within the city limits), snow machining,hiking,ice hockey, golf and tennis are the main sports.
