I am a native Memphian with 17 years of real estate sales experience. I grew up in East Memphis and attended White Station 1-12 grade. I attended Christian Brothers University for two years and the University of Memphis for three. I was on golf scholarship at both universities. I graduated in May, 1979 from U of M with a BS in Marketing/Sales(3.2 GPA). I won one college golf tournament. I tried to play golf as a professional and retired in November, 1983. I was licensed in real estate in 1980, working part-time until Nov., 1983. I became a full time Realtor-Associate and have never looked back. I was married in 1984 to my wife Jan. We have four children, Tracey(12), Kelley(11) and the identical twins Will and Alex(7). We attend Bellevue Baptist Church which is one of the largest churches in the world(26,000 members). I am still very active in competitive golf in Memphis and Tennessee. I won the Tennessee State Amatuer Golf Championship in 1986. I have won five Memphis Amatuer Golf Championships, in 1978, 82, 83, 86, and 90. Real estate and children have caused quite a slide in my competitve performance.

I am hoping that my children will become part of the Memphis and Tennessee golfing future. They play basketball, baseball/softball and soccer. I coach all of these sports in my leisure time. My main areas of expertise are East Memphis, Germantown, Cordova, Collierville and Bartlett. I average 35-45 homes closed each year. My average price is approximately $125,000 but last year sales ranged from $59,500 to $486,500. I work with a builder, Jimmy Wittenberg. He has been building since 1980 and does mainly custom new construction and renovation. We do 2-4 market homes a year usually priced between $200,000 and $500,000. I try to carry 10-15 listings at one time and work people not areas.
