I have a degree from the University of Pittsburgh, served as an artillery officer in Vietnam '68 to '69 and spent 20 years in heavy industry. Married with children who are all grown and scattered. Originally from Pennsylvania, I have lived in Greeneville since 1987 and am happy to be here. The terrain reminds me of home but the weather is so much better, especially in the winter. My Real Estate career started about 9 years ago and is mainly in residential and land with some commercial here and there. I was a Century 21 Masters Club Award member. Greeneville is rich with early American history.Located in Greene county and named for General Nathaniel Greene, a hero of the Revolutionary War, the town and county were created in 1783 - not by the State of Tennessee but by North Carolina - and thereby hangs the tale of the Lost State of Franklin. Greeneville was proudly claimed as home by the country's 17th President, Andrew Johnson. His tailor shop, home and national monument recount his simple beginnings through his rise to the country's highest office, and also provide insight into a troubled hour of our nation's history.
