Wayne graduated from Clemson University with a BS degree and pursued a career with Allied Chemical Co, Shell Chemical Co and DuPont. Jane receive a BS degree from Winthrop University in Hope Economics. She taught at the junior and senior high school level, served as a cookbook editor for a major company, wrote and published two cookbooks, co-owner and chef of a catering company, and owner/operator of a bed and breakfast inn.
