Karen Spruell and daughter Andrea Pemberton bring over 30 years of real estate experience and over $30 million of career sales to the company. Karen was formerly Owner/Broker of Island Realty, in Grosse Ile, Michigan. She has also earned the additional designation of ABR (Accredited Buyer Representative). Andrea grew up on Grosse Ile, an island (population of 12,000) in the mouth of Lake Erie, just south of Detroit. She has called the Lake Norman area her home for six years. Andrea is a 1995 Ivy League graduate of Brown University, and has used her marketing and public relations expertise in the business world of NASCAR racing before shifting gears to real estate. Karen and Andrea chose to join Lake Norman Realty because of the "water community connection" to Grosse Ile and the casual, friendly, "hometown" atmosphere of the local residents and their associates at Lake Norman Realty.
