The city of Myrtle Creek is located 16 miles south of Roseburg. It has become known as the "100 Valleys of the Umpqua". Seventy miles to the west lies the beautiful pacific coastline and approximately 85 miles to the east you will enter the magnificent Cascade Mountain range.

The mild seasonal characteristics are well defined with gradual changes noted between our definite four seasons. Springs are beautiful and green as sunshine and temperatures increase. Summers are sunny. The temperatures stay mostly in the comfortable 80's and low 90's. Temperatures will creep into the high 90's occasionally, but highs over l00 are rare. Best of all it's never too humid here. Dry weather continues into mid fall, sunny days are the norm. The winters are more rainy, but snow in the valleys is rare.
