A firm believer in education, Rose was very active in her local Board of Realtors, serving as chairman of committees such as Education, Community Service, Grievance and also on the Board of Directors. Rose was also honored by the Mayor of Peabody, when she was granted the "Pride of Peabody" award, given to citizens who volunteered in their community.
