A life-long resident of New England, I’ve lived in Hudson, New Hampshire, for 10 years now. When I first looked for a house in New Hampshire, my broker stopped the car and told me, “I represent the seller.” She said, “I realize you know that, but by New Hampshire law I have to explicitly tell you that.” From that moment forward, I was impressed with the New Hampshire Real Estate profession because it forces disclosure of the agent/client relationship.
Although I now live in a house, prior to that I owned/lived in a condo and served on its board of directors. While I served as Treasurer, then President, the condo association went from being managed by a distant lawyer to being self-managed by it board. Most of the time that meant I, Ruth Sessions, managed it all; everything from establishing the budget to meeting with town representatives and contractors as well as owners. While solving problems, I ensured fairness to every owner.
My work as a condo association manager lead to requests to manage other rental property. So, it was a natural transition when I decided to sell real estate in New Hampshire. I am a member of the National Association of REALTORS, the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS, and the Greater Manchester/Nashua Association of REALTORS. While I bring together buyers and sellers, my pledge as a real estate professional is to serve all with fairness and integrity.
