Joining Bill in the ownership of Evans Real Estate is Stan Evans, a native-born New Mexican and Realtor since 1968. Stan was born north of Santa Fe in Espanola, raised in El Rito and Santa Fe by his well known mother, Ernestine D. Evans, a former Secretary-of-State of New Mexico and assistant to several governors. Although the "D" is for Duran, she likes to say it's for "Democrat".
